About
Who We Are

Gospel Ambassadors is an organization sponsored by the Southeastern Mennonite Conference, whose purpose is the spread of the Gospel (the Good News of Jesus Christ) through concentrated evangelism activities.

Our administration and staff are all volunteers and our activities often include singing and distributing free literature and Christian music in urban areas.

Most of our volunteers are Anabaptists; members of the Mennonite, Beachy Amish, and similar denominations.

The Anabaptists are a third group that came out of the religious reformation of the fifteen-hundreds. The Anabaptists were not interested in protesting, rather their goal was to follow the teachings and example of Jesus.

We are thankful for our heritage as Anabaptists and are not ashamed of it, but our representation in our activities is that of Jesus Christ. You are welcome to ask questions about us and our practices and we will be happy to answer, but make no mistake; we are not here to make more Mennonites but to show the world Jesus.

What We Believe

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He came as a man, lived a life of sinlessness and the perfect example; that He gave his life a sacrifice for the sins of all mankind, rose triumphant over death, and ascended to His Father, living there now advocating for His followers and preparing their eternal dwelling place.

We believe Jesus Christ is the only way to reconciliation with our creator God; that only through His sacrifice and our belief in Him can we find true freedom now, and through eternity.

We believe a life and heart committed to Jesus will result in a life of love, showing and sharing the love of God each day.
